Denver, CO April 22, 2008: The signature roof of Denver International Airport’s Jeppesen Terminal has made it one of the most recognizable buildings in the United States. DIA has now teamed with the American Institute of Architects Colorado to present a new exhibit: Crossroads: Colorado Architecture
Then, Now, and Beyond.

The exhibit celebrates Colorado’s rich architectural history, and corresponds with National
Architecture Week and the 150th anniversary of the City of Denver. The exhibit will be open for
viewing through January 2009, which includes DIA’s busiest travel months and the Democratic
National Convention in August.

For 150 years, members of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) have worked with each
other and their communities to create more valuable, healthy, secure, and sustainable buildings
and cityscapes. AIA members have access to the right people, knowledge, and tools, and using
these resources and access they help clients and communities realize their visions through
better design. AIA Colorado (www.aiacolorado.org) is a state component of AIA with more than
2,200 members in four local chapters.

Crossroads: Colorado Architecture Then, Now, and Beyond is located in two areas at DIA:
Concourse A, mezzanine level, center core, and Concourse C, gates level, center core. Both
locations are accessible only by ticketed passengers.
