Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is advising motorists that a single right lane closure will occur on northbound Route 28 (Allegheny Valley Expressway) at the 40th Street Bridge in the Borough of Millvale, Allegheny County, weather permitting, on Tuesday, May 13, 2008.
The lane closure is necessary as contractor crews conduct guide rail repairs. To minimize impacts on the traveling public, the lane closure will only occur between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday. The prime contractor for the repairs is Green Acres Contracting, Inc. of Scottdale, PA.
PennDOT advises motorists to use caution and slow down when traveling through the area. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
