Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is advising motorists that a short-term single left lane closure will occur on westbound Route 22/30 between the Tonidale and Oakdale Interchanges on Friday, June 26, 2008, in North Fayette Township, Allegheny County, weather permitting.
Note: This work was originally scheduled to occur on Wednesday but was postponed.
The single lane closure is necessary as contractor crews conduct concrete median barrier repairs. To minimize impacts on the traveling public, the lane closure will only occur between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. The prime contractor for the repairs is Green Acres Contracting, Inc. of Scottdale, PA.
PennDOT advises motorists to use caution and slow down when traveling through the area. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
