Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is advising motorists that single lane closures will occur on the Parkway East (I-376) in both directions between the Boulevard of the Allies (Exit 2) and Bates Street (Exit 3) on Saturday, June 28, 2008, in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, weather permitting.
The single left lane closures are necessary as contractor crews conduct median barrier repairs. To minimize impacts on the traveling public, the lane closures will only occur from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday. The prime contractor for the repairs is Green Acres Contracting, Inc. of Scottdale, PA.
PennDOT advises motorists to use caution and slow down when traveling through the area. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
