Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is advising motorists work to repair a ramp over Route 65 (Ohio River Boulevard) in the borough of Freedom, Beaver County, will begin on Tuesday, July 1, 2008, weather permitting.
Crews will be conducting substructure steel repairs on the ramp from southbound Route 65 to Third Avenue. To allow the necessary work to occur, single lane closures will occur on Route 65 daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Tuesday, July 8. No work will occur on July 4 and lane closures will be lifted during peak periods in either direction.
The work in included in a contract with Thornbury, Inc. of Sunbury, PA for bridge repairs in various locations in PennDOT District 11.
Motorists are advised to use caution, be prepared for changing traffic patterns, and allow extra time when traveling through the area.
