The Lemon Grass Asian Grill and Bar recently opened in Sacramento International Airport (SMF) and is located in the Terminal A food court. Other new additions are Zia/Saladworks, Quizno's and Starbucks.
Passengers at Sacramento International Airport are enjoying a wider variety of dining options, thanks to some new restaurants. This week,local favorite Lemon Grass opens atthe airport. Known for its casual Southeast Asian dining, Lemon Grassoffers curry dishes, Thai and Vietnamese noodles, salads, and salad rolls. The new restaurant also serves breakfast items from La Bou Bakery Café.
The Lemon Grass Asian Grill and Bar is located post-security in the Terminal A food court next to Burger King, and is open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Visit www.LemonGrassRestaurant.com for more information, including menus. “We are excited to add a bit of local flavor like Lemon Grass to the airport” said Director of Airports G. Hardy Acree. “The addition of this restaurant is just another step in our continuing efforts to bring the highest quality of goods and services to our passengers.”
The two other Lemon Grass restaurants are located in East Sacramento. The first location opened in 1988 in collaboration with the owners of La Bou Bakery Café. Since then, Lemon Grass has become a popular local eatery, and has been recognized as one of the best Southeast Asian restaurants in the United States.
In addition to Lemon Grass, two more new restaurants are now open in the Terminal A food court. Quizno’s, serving freshly-made sandwiches and salads, is next to Lemon Grass. Zia/Saladworks offers smoothies and a salad bar next to Cinnabon.
Starbucks recently opened postsecurity in Terminal B2. In Terminal B1, another post-security Starbucks is opening soon near United Airlines’ gates. More food is also coming soon to the lower level of Terminal B, with the addition of a Zia next to Chili’s Too.
