New Airport Restaurants and Stores Open at Tampa International Airport (TPA) Including Carrabba's Italian Grill, Sam Snead's Tavern and Chili's To-Go
HMSHost, the concessionaire which renewed its contract for 5 years with the Tampa airport last April, has been opening new airport restaurants and stores at Tampa International Airport (TPA).
Tampa International Airport -- November 2008 – Another new airport restaurant has opened at Tampa International Airport (TPA). The newest airport restaurant is Carrabba's Italian Grill, which opened this past week.
All of the coming airport restaurants and stores at Tampa International Airport were outlined by HMSHost in April, and excerpted from their press release and updated below:
New Landside building dining offerings include Carrabba's Italian Grill, Brioche Dorée, Zia Juice and Baja Fresh Mexican Grill, joining the current Burger King, T.G.I. Friday’s, and Starbucks Coffee. New Landside Building shopping venues include Harley Davidson, United Colors of Benetton, Tommy Bahama/Vera Bradley, News & Books and Flip Flop Fun joining the existing Ron Jon Surf Shop, Mindworks, Wilsons Leather, Inmotion Entertainment, Bijoux Terner, Sunglass International, Florida Shop and Sports Scene.
Already open on Airside A is Sam Snead’s Tavern, honoring the golf legend with eye-catching memorabilia in a casual dining environment. Travelers can enjoy meals in the clubhouse with renowned specialty grill items such as chicken, ribs, seafood and beef, light salads and sandwiches, tempting desserts and a full bar.
Airside C will have a new Sweet Factory while Popeye’s Chicken & Biscuits and a new Chili’s Too-To Go has also already opened on Airside F.
Other existing food and beverage options include: Quiznos Sub, Tequilieria, Nathan’s, Samuel Adams, Chili’s Too, Casa Bacardi and FlatBreadz. Current retail shops include Tampa Bay News Connection, Tampa Bay Trading Company, News Express and Gulf Coast Mercantile.
And don't worry, Starbucks also has a store in in the Landside Building as well as on all Airsides.
