An unusual exhibit, which will only be on display until the end of January 2009, is of ships in bottles. This airport art exhibit features the work of Jeff Simmons who has been building ships in bottles for over 40 years.
All the ships in this exhibit are all based on historic vessels, including several well-known in the Pacific Northwest . His containers include old whiskey bottles, picket flasks, and his favorite, large old light bulbs
It's not often that one gets to see a unique exhibit of ships in bottles such as this, so when your travels next take you to Sea-Tac Airport, check it out while you can!
