Boston's Logan International Airport (BOS) has a new flashy upscale food court.

After a $5.5 million upgrade of Boston's Logan International Airport's Terminal C's food court, its Dunkin' Donuts now is the largest one at airports nationwide - and the only one with a trendy lounge. Designers persuaded seven restaurants - also including Currito Burritos Without Borders, Ryo Asian Fusion, Famous Famiglia, and Jerry Remy's Sports Bar & Grill - to splurge on expensive countertops and eye-catching architecture. You want to grab their eye," said Steve Dumas, senior vice president of retail design for Westfield Corp., whose subsidiary manages Terminal C's concession program.

Airportwide, concession sales for the fiscal year ended June 30 increased 7.5 percent to $145 million, up from $135 million the year before. That's good news for the Massachusetts Port Authority, which runs Boston's Logan airport and pockets about 11 percent of concession revenues, or $15.9 million in the last fiscal year. Jack Hemphill, Massport's aviation business general manager, bets total concession sales will keep improving as food court renovations continue. Logan was the North American airport with the fourth-highest food and beverage sales per arriving or departing passenger in calendar 2007, according to the annual list that Airport Revenue News plans to release next week. Last year, each Boston flier spent $5.77 on food and beverages, on average, up from $5.50 in 2006. Increasing per-passenger concession revenue is important for Massport as fewer flights and travelers use the airport due to high jet fuel costs and concerns about the economy.

Boston's Logan International Airport (BOS) has a new dining and drinking establishment on Terminal B, serving beer, wine and spirits from Nantucket Island. Other terminal have local beer from Boston Beer Works, Harpoon and Sam Adams.

Boston -- Logan Airport (August 16, 2008) -- Recently opened in Terminal B, is Cisco Brewpub. Cisco Brewpub serves food, as well as the beer of Nantucket's Cisco Brewery as well as wines from sister companies Nantucket Vinyards and spirits from Triple Eight Distillary. It is open from 5am to 9pm daily.

If you are looking for beer in Terminal C, the Boston Beer Works recently opened there on the Jet Blue concourse. Boston Beer works is a local brewpub, and the beers are on tap at this establishment.

In Terminal A, Delta, one can enjoy beers from another local brewery, Harpoon. Harpoon is also a Boston Brewery / Brewpub and in addition to their beers, they also serve a pub menu.

Sam Adams reportedly also has locations pre-secuity in Terminals A and post-secuity in Terminal E.

This is information that was obtained from multiple sources, including BAA which operates Logan Airport's "AirMall". Unfortunately it is difficult to confirm on the Logan International Airport website, since they don't appear to update it often, and BAA's site is not that great either. Any information you can add would be welcome.
